Dear Tweeters,

Since coming back to Skagit County in early July, and doing a fair bit of birding here and there, I have seen very few Pine Siskins. In fact, I recall only one or two sightings, totalling maybe three or four individuals, in the five months. It does seem to be a siskin-scarce stretch.
