Thank you to all who responded to my inquiry about photographing Kinglets in low
light. You confirmed my notion that I could spend $Ks and still not have what I
wanted, and you supported my unspoken inclination to go digital.

I've decided to get a Sony Digital Handycam (DCR-TRV530) that I've been
considering for several months. It has 25x zoom, captures stills, and performs
well in low light conditions. You may not see my photographs in National
Geographic, but I hope to capture visible images of my Kinglets.

There is news of digital advancements I'll mention in another message.
