I teach a year around field natural history class and of course, birds are
a substantial component of wildlife that we encounter each week. I am always
searching for digital images of common NW resident birds that I can use with
my class. One of the things we do with the kids during project week is have
a computer running a slide show where they have to ID a common bird in 3
seconds. I am in need of digital images for this, and other purposes. One
thing I would really like before the end of the year is some field shots of
visible but hidden common owls, like you would actually see them in the
field. Big lumps on branches, with field marks barely visible would be fine.
Chickadees and song sparrows would be useful as well.

These images would be used ONLY for teaching purposes. If you have any
posted, send me a link, if you have a couple, you can send them as
attachments. I just bookmarked the Tweeters posting page and will be
contacted those photographers soon for permissions to use specific photos.

I appreciate your help, my students will be better birders for it.
