For further information regarding the strange bird described in Kurt Ranta's
message of December 4....(Strange bird in Stanley Park)...see below. My
girlfriend and I also saw the bird Kurt described, but got a much better look
at it on Saturday, November 9.

I discussed our sighting with my friend Dennis Paulson, and he posted a couple
of messages regarding same. Please see message #16 posted November 11, and
message #7 posted November 12 under the name "Netta Smith" for our
description. We've had no further luck that you in identifying the
bird....the rich whistle call Kurt described was what first caught our
attention!
