Well, I'm coming back again. Just can't stay away this year. I'll
be in and out of Seattle from the 8th- 18th, although my primary mission this
time is to accompany a friend to Guatemala, where she's adopting a little
girl. But I still will have some time for birding the Seattle area, and I've
got a short list of target species. As always, any advice is greatly
appreciated.
Ancient Murrelet- yes, I've been reading the last few weeks, and I'll
heading to Dash Point straight from the plane. But any specifics in terms of
directions would be helpful.
Trumpeter Swan
Northern Shrike
Rock Sandpiper
Maybe these are easy birds this time of year, but they'd be new to me!
Shrikes are hard to come by in my neck of the woods.
Thanks again in advance for passing on advice, and I'm happy to be
heading back to lovely Washington once again!
Regards,
Ken Allaire
