Just what we need: next time you are getting close to a bird to try and get a good look and a proper ID, I can see someone's cell phone going off and scaring the birds away. Better to leave the cell phone at home or in the car and report it after you are out of the field. IMHO, no rarity is worth disturbing the birds or the birders who are also out there.
