Dear Blake,

Thank you for the informative parts of your posts and, since I have a
teenage son, I can handle your enthusiastic defense of a hobby you love.
You should be able to express this as loudly and clearly as you wish in this
country.

I see you live in Arlington, not too far from Everett. Maybe one day you'll
invite those of us who "need to learn" to your place to see what you do.
Then you can meet your "foe" activist in real life and personally be able to
change her thinking. I would be thrilled to be reassured about falconry.
Aren't you just a little concerned that there are falconers out there who
aren't following appropriate procedures in breeding? This happens in dog
breeding where the aberrant pups are quietly killed so no one knows about
them. Also I'd like to add that I have been active in environmental groups
saving wetlands for a good 30 years and, no, it is not only the hunters who
are saving habitat. To list all the groups I'm involved with would be a bit
much, especially for those who would like to snuff this thread altogether.
Cheers!

Christine
