yesterday I notice a bird hovering by the suet feeder. On closer
inspection, I found that it was a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Being the
smallest bird there, it was easily scared off by the chickadees and
nuthatches, but it came back several times. Eventually it was able to
briefly perch and eat.

I have a vague recollection of someone else seeing this behavior, but
it's the first time I've seen it. Comments?
