On November 11, Jeremy Shreve observed 2 GRAY-CROWNED ROSY-FINCHES at Twin
Sisters near Wallula.

Bob Woodley reported a male EURASIAN WIGEON near the beach in Leslie Groves
Park in Richland on December 5. Also present were 5 or 6 pairs of BARROW'S
GOLDENEYES.

Carleen Gonder noted a SNOWY OWL along Highway 24 between Vernita and
Othello at milepost 50 on December 8.

An immature GLAUCOUS GULL has been at Columbia Point in Richland on
December 9 & 10. Bob Woodley discovered this bird. It has been seen on
the shore below the overlook as well as on the mudbars in the Yakima Delta
when the water is low enough.

Though a distance away, there has been an immature YELLOW-BILLED LOON below
Wanapum Dam since November. It travels to both sides of the river,
sometimes obscured from view by parts of the dam. It has been seen from
the Grant county side visitors parking area at the dam. There are also 5
or more Common Loons present.
