Given recent interest in the Edmonds Marsh and Public Pier, I understand the King
County "Brightwater" project is considering putting in a new sewage treatment
system at Unocal on the side of the hill just above the marsh. The EIS is
available online at http://dnr.metrokc.gov/wtd/brightwater/env/ where comments
can also be taken until Jan. 6, 2003.

Also, an Edmonds resident told me that the city of Edmonds wants to move the
ferry terminal south to the marsh. I have no further information regarding that.
