Tweets;

The Bean Goose is still present. I arrived at Bowerman Basin at 1:00 PM. A
note posted at the beginning of the trail indicated that the Bean Goose was
found at the nearby Elementary School only 10 minutes earlier. (Hopefully
the author of that note will post further details on Tweeters as well). I
joined other
birders already present on Adams St. (traffic light on hwy 101 just East of
refuge), and watched the Bean Goose and 9 Canada Geese grazing on the
playing field behind the school.

After watching this bird for a while, I traveled back to the refuge to walk
the Sandpiper boardwalk trail. At 1:40 PM, the Bean Goose and the 9 Canada
Geese flew in and landed on the grassy median of the two runways. They were
still present when I left at 2:15.

Good Birding
Steve
