And people think we got problems here in regards to Washington birds and
other small forms of wildlife. Let a couple of
Brown Tree Snakes get into Hawaii, and it won't take long and they'll
reproduce quickly, and it's goodbye to all their birds, endemic and
introduced. Another terrible case of an introduction of an exotic
species- accidental or otherwise.
It's a terribly expensive endeavor to get rid of introductions- if you
can..
