For anyone heading down to see the Bean Goose, this is an ideal time to use
our FRS radios to locate the bird. I will be down tomorrow and will monitor
channel 11, subcode 22 per the ABA recommendations. Anyone down there with
an FRS please do the same, and make an announcement on 11/22 when you find
Mr. Bean. That way you can notify all other birders in a two mile radius of
his whereabouts. Since a few people have radios without subcodes, I will
monitor channel 11, no subcode as well. Best of luck to all, and good
