Just wanted to pass along a couple of interesting birds seen in my cbc
area for the Ellensburg count on 12/14.
OSPREY-1 bird seen twice during day along Ringer Loop Rd (where Little
Blue Heron was), once almost same spot as the heron and the other flying
down the river and the public fishing spot on the south end of the road.
HARRIS' SPARROW-1 first winter bird on Stone RD about a 1/4 from end.
Stone road is the right off of canyon rd, just north of ringer lp. There
was an incredible flock of sparrows and goldfinches near some sheds and
old fences on the left side of the road, with weeds and thistles. In
what I could see I estimated 50-55 Song sparrows, 55-60 White-crowned
Sparrow and about 40-45 American Goldfinch.

Good birding all.
