Hi Tweeters and David,

Good message. I stopped at the Hoquiam information center on Saturday and gave the nice lady working the center more information on the Bean Goose (when she first heard about it she thought it was probably the name of a restaurant...) and how to access Tweeters Digests to learn more. I told her if the goose sticks around to expect people with time and money from around the country to visit. She is ordering more pamphlets about the Sandpiper trail and in the meantime is making photocopies for anyone interested. Unfortunately, I was like many many people making the trek Saturday, on a wild goose chase.

I also wholeheartedly agree with patronizing businesses in communities we visit.
