Today I ran into a small group at the K St. spot where the goose was feeding
in a field with variety of Canadas. Later, several of us, Barry Levine,
Carol Schultz, and Charlie Wright, were directed to a better place for
viewing. Unless someone else can post better directions, here are mine for
whatever it's worth. After following Paulson Road, and travelling the left
side of the ponds, turn left away from the ponds, and take the first paved
road right,
Anderson-Markett(?) buildings on right behind fence, and then follow to V in
road, going right again, passing the Anderson-Markett office, drive straight
onto the gravel down the road, and hop the gate. You can follow along the
gravel and get good views of a variety of birds, and also head into the now
very wet fields, where the Bean Goose has been hanging out..........good
luck, we all left just before the big rains!!
