Hello all,

I heard and saw many reports of various owl species from all the CBC
talys, and I was very interested in them. My nocturnal bird list isn't
what it should be, I've had lousy luck with owls and nightjars. I was
wondering if anyone had advice as to how to remedy this, ideas on
specific times to hear and see owls, locations around the state, and
best time of year to find them. I'm looking for 4 in particular,
Spotted, N. Saw-Whet,Western Screech, and N. Pygmy-Owl. I have some
ideas, but they haven't worked so far, so I'd like to tap the vast
collective bird knowlegde of the group, and see what you all think.
