While I was at work, I notice three jays just going crazy. First thought was
accipiter, I went and looked, and the distance that I was from the trees,
would have flushed an accipiter so not that. I was about to leave and as I
did, I noticed a beautiful long eared owl. He/she saw me and was still and
until it noticed I knew it was there. Then it started to snap its beak as a
defense warning. Very cute litlte guy/girl. I left it and the jays got one
more scolding in before they lost interest and left.
