I replied to Ilene, but I'll say it again, I work at Hopkins Nursery. I
operate the backhoes and do other labor type of work. I'm outside all the
time so I see those types of things, including our local accipiters, and a
merlin or two. Earlier this summer, I was driving home in Bothell, literally
1000 yrds. north of my work, and going through the whindy (sp?) part of the
road which has forest around it, a barred owl showed itself on the trees, on
the ground and all over the place. He/she was quite active with some very
aggitated robins next to it. Right at dusk too. So cool.
