Message from Bob Morse:

I spent two hours at the Ocean Shores jetty, Friday afternoon, just after
the storm passed through. Weather was dry but strong winds persisted from
the west. Highlights were 7 NORTHERN FULMARS, each a dark morph battling
the wind heading west along the south side of the jetty, 3 dark-bellied
SHEARWATERS off the end of the jetty, 21 RED PHALAROPE, and a mixed flock
of 18 SURFBIRDS and ROCK SANDPIPERS at the end of the jetty. There were
good numbers of passing loons, cormorants, and scoters.
