Subject: no Glaucous Gull at Green Lake

Even though they'd been missed on Saturday, the prospect of picking up two
lifers
with a 12-mile drive seemed too good to pass on, so I went after the
Glaucous Gull
and Thayer's Gull at Green Lake yesterday. I can't swear that they weren't
there,
but I looked for two hours at approximately 200 gulls all around the lake,
and did
not find either.

For a door prize there was a Eurasian wigeon on the eastern shore, about a
quarter
mile south of the Community Center. Nothing else interesting.
