I went back out to the Para Pond area again Sunday and discovered I was seeing alot more tricolored blackbirds than I had Saturday, see note below, although it is very difficult to get a handle on a good #. I wanted to post this to let anyone who wishes to do alittle homework, or just see one, on tricolors should visit this area. It appears to be some what reliable. Delorme PG 53, 7b.

NOTE FROM SATURDAY:
This is the time of year I find tricolored blackbird on McManoman Rd. A rancher has established a cattle feeder next to Para Lake (McManoman rd bisects Para Lake) and it is attracting alot of "black birds" and here I found between 5-10 tricolors. All birds were very mobile and jumpy so it was difficult to determine a good number.
