Ginger and Rodger Shoemake discovered a RED BREASTED SAPSUCKER yesterday.
It is a first for the county and puts the total count for the county to 321.

The bird is in the pine tree directly beside the restrooms at Rooks Park in
east Walla Walla.

This information was given to me by Mike Denney. He and Merry Lynn were just
out and photographed it this morning.
