Today, I went on a walk around Lincoln Rock State Park, Douglas County. The
park is closed in winter but you can park outside the gate and walk in. The
turnoff for the park is at MP 132.5 on US 2 north of Wenatchee. Delorme
Atlas page 83, D6.
Birding was generally slow, typical for the time of year.

At the north end of the park in the tenters campground were two sapsuckers.
One of these was a Red-breasted Sapsucker. It was feeding in the pines at
campsite 16.
The other was a Red-breasted x Red-naped Sapsucker. It was feeding in the
pines at campsite 10.

Two Varied Thrushes were feeding on the lawn at this campground.
