Hey Tweeters,
This afternoon I had a male Common Redpoll visit one of our feeders with
some of the 70+ siskins which have been around lately. Yard bird #105. Other
unusual birds in the yard today were a Common Merganser and a Brown Creeper.
As a side note, Lake Fenwick in Kent was quite alive with owls last night.
Carol Schulz and I got 1+ each of Western Screech, Saw-whet, and Great Horned
Owls there after the (excellent) WOS meeting in Seattle.
