Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This
report was made Thursday February 7. If you have anything to add call

A BLUE JAY is now coming to a feeder at the edge of the Irrigon Marina
Park. From Irrigon take 10th. Street to the river. The ORCHARD ORIOLES
are still being seen in Brookings. The Burns BRAMBLING is still being
seen.

The first reported RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD was in Brookings February 6. A pair
of either RUFOUS or ALLEN'S were at Port Orford January 28, and one was
at Brookings February 2. Two TURKEY VULTURES were south of Bandon
February 2. A YELLOW-BILLED LOON has been on the Siuslaw River in
Florence all week. A GLAUCOUS GULL was there February 3.

Up to 19 BLACK OYSTERCATCHERS are now at Depoe Bay. A NASHVILLE WARBLER
was at Cutler City on Siletz Bay February 2. The SNOWY OWL is still at
the South Jetty of the Columbia River. Two TREE SWALLOWS were at
Brownsmead, east of Astoria February 2.

Up to six COMMON REDPOLLS are now back at Oaks Bottom in southeast
Portland. They are in the trees along the railroad tracks just north of
Oaks Park. The Beaverton COSTA'S HUMMINGBIRD is still being seen. On
February 5 a GOSHAWK was north of Portland at Skyline Blvd. and Cornelius
Pass Road.

A BLACK PHOEBE is now at the Willamina Sewage Ponds and another is at the
Wintel Road Blind at Ankeny NWR. A SAY'S PHOEBE was at the Force Farm
along Enterprise Road northwest of Dallas. At least three TRICOLORED
BLACKBIRDS are in the large blackbird flock there. A flock of ten
CHIPPING SPARROWS are at a filbert orchard at North Perrydale Road and
McKee Road north of Perrydale. The GYRFALCON is still being seen along
West Perrydale Road west of Perrydale. A flock of 13 TURKEY VULTURES was
at Fern Ridge Reservoir February 2. Two ROSS'S GEESE are now at Fern
Ridge.

On February 6 a TUFTED DUCK was on the Redmond Sewage Ponds. A flock of
REDPOLLS were at the corner of 8th. and Black Butte in Redmond February
4. On February 6 a flock was on the east side of Bend at the Bend Villa
Court.

On February 2 a flock of 400 SNOW BUNTINGS, 700 ROSY-FINCHES, 100 HORNED
LARKS, and two LAPLAND LONGSPURS were along Golf Course Road northwest of
Enterprise. A large flock of GRAY-CROWNED ROSY-FINCHES was near
Telocaset. The wintering GYRFALCON four miles northeast of Joseph is
still being seen.
