I looked up some CBC for that year 1996 and there are no sightigs listed in:

TACOMA 0
OAK HARBOR O
SKAGIT O
KITSAP O
GRAYS HARBOR 0
KENT -AUBURN O
LEADBETTER POINT 0

The only Swamp Sparrow that year was one bird in Edmonds that year.The Compiler that year in Olympia was George Walters.I know from past experience you have to write this bird up.

According to the CBC web site, there were 343 Swamp Sparrows in the Olympia CBC for Dec. 25, 1996. The web page doesn't give the compiler, and I don't have the printed copy. Does anyone know who the compiler was or whether the count on the web page is a typo?
