According to Bob Morse's "A Birder's Guide to Coastal Washington", the best
chances to see this bird are during breeding season (May through early
August) at Cape Flattery, Kohchaa Island (La Push), and the furtherest
island south of Pt. Grenville. He also mentions Puffin Adventures
(1-888-305-2437) in Neah Bay for boat trips. Maybe they can give you some
times.

Is it possible to find Tufted Puffins this time of year in
Washington? I don't do a lot of coastal birding, so I hope this
doesn't come across as a silly question. If it is possible, where are
the places to go to have the best chance of viewing some?

Thanks for any suggestions.
