A RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER was at Rooks Park on the east side of Walla Walla,
Walla Walla Co WA on 3 Feb. First seen by Ginger and Rodger Shoemaker, the
bird was photographed on 4 Feb by Mike and MerryLynn Denny. Thanks to John
and Sue Rogers for passing this along.

Another RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER was in Lincoln Rock State Park, north of
Wenatchee, Douglas Co WA on 5 Feb according to Dave Beaudette. Take US 2/US
97 north from Wenatchee toward Chelan, turn-off to the park at milepost
132.5. At the north end of the park is the campground for tents and the bird
was in site 16. It was seen the next day by Scott Ray. WA DeLorme 83, D-6.

The third year WESTERN GULL is still being seen below Little Goose Dam on
the Snake River in Whitman and Columbia counties, WA. Ken Knittle reports
seeing it on 1 Feb. WA DeLorme 55, D-8.

About 10 TRI-COLORED BLACKBIRDS were just north of Othello, Adams Co WA on 2
Feb according to Bob Flores. Bob found the birds in a cattle feeding area
next to Para Lake, which is bisected by McManaman Road north of town. WA
DeLorme 53, B-7.

A HARRIS'S SPARROW was spied in Grant Co WA over the weekend by Dan Allen
and Theresa Mathis. The bird was in the WDFW parking lot of the South
Columbia Basin Wildlife Area (Desert Unit) about 6 miles south of I-90.

In Lewiston, Nez Perce Co ID, Bryan Jamison reports 2 DUNLIN at Mann Lake
and a BARRED OWL at Kiwanis Park on 2 Feb. Mann Lake is about 3 miles east
of Lewiston along Powers Avenue and Kiwanis Park is the first parking lot
south of the US 12 bridge between Lewiston and Clarkston along Snake River
Avenue.
