I haven't read the book yet, but George Archibald from the International
Crane Foundation is part of the West Coast book tour that includes San
Francisco and Portland. I did want to let you and everyone on Tweeters know
that you can talk to Peter Matthiessen and have him sign your book next
month at Othello's Crane Festival. He will be our banquet speaker and the
featured writer at the Authors Forum on Saturday afternoon, March 23. Our
list of authors is climbing to ten or more, and we promise another bigger
and better program. I'll post information in the next few weeks on the
program, field trips, registration, etc. Trying to do a final edit on the
program and brochure this evening so the website can be updated. Any drafts
that have leaked out will have a few changes.
