Hello fellow Tweeters,
Laura Jordison here again. Went out birding with a couple of friends today
(Feb. 9) and saw a nice variety of birds. The highlight though was a very
nice Northern Shrike! It was perched on a pole so we were able to get the
scope on it. That was at Boundary Bay, Tsawwassen. We next headed over to
the Tsawwassen ferry terminal where we saw 3 Killdeer and 1 Willet. The
Willet flew off a little ways so we were able to view the black on its
wings. Other than that, it was mainly the usuals for the area
(Ladner/Tsawwassen). Have to go now, but I'll keep everybody posted about
birds in this area.
