We've had 6 or so Anna's all winter, and just this last week the adult males
have been departing from our yard. (West Seattle) We still have an immature
male and a few females. On Saturday morning we visited the South Seattle
Community College Chinese Garden, and on the way out saw a male Anna's doing
territorial dives over a flowering cherry near the pond and flaring his
gorget.
