Well actually birds of Great Stirrup Cay. Short trip to the Bahamas which got
me to the Great Stirrup Cay, a small island. Actually saw 15 species in
total. I had a great time photographing birds and have posted a page of
pictures. One of my more successful outings. I had hoped to get a Yellow
Bellied Sapsucker but only found the holes.

I used a 300mm and a 180mm, and ambient light and flash.
It is interesting to go to an island that you have absolutely no idea what to
expect. I have never seen any pictures of the island. It was a great
adventure. Only time I have been photographing birds with the sounds of steel
drum music in the background. Ain't life grand?
