TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRES made appearances in Judy & Scott Dietert's Richland
yard on January 29, and in Jack & Murrel Dawson's Benton City yard on
February 3.

A first-year THAYER'S GULL was at the marina near Bateman Island on
February 2, observed by Bill & Nancy LaFramboise.

Also on February 2, Bob Woodley saw a GOLDEN EAGLE and a MERLIN on the
south slope of Rattlesnake Mountain. There was also a BURROWING OWL at one
of the artificial burrows at the WSU shrub steppe area.

Juniper berries attracted a variety of birds to Bob Woodley's neighbor's
Richland yard on February 5. Among the American Robins, and CEDAR WAXWINGS
was one BOHEMIAN WAXWING.

Carl Higby had a VARIED THRUSH in his Richland yard on February 7.

Ruth Fischer and Nancy LaFramboise observed 2 adult BALD EAGLES, 24 DUNLIN,
and 2 male CANVASBACKS at the Yakima Delta on February 11.

The 2 HARRIS' SPARROWS that have been visiting the LaFramboise's Richland
yard are still present as of today.
