No, they nest on the other side of the canal, they just hang out in the
cedar and other trees at the locks, and on the Time Oil fueling pier prior
to nesting. Eight today in the Deodora, 4 in a nearby tree, 3 in a pine in
the nursery area, 1 on the fueling pier, 1 on the waiting wall near the RR
bridge and 2 in the trees on the other side of Hirams. It's hard to judge
exact numbers in the trees, you see different numbers from different
angles, so I report the most seen from any one angle..
