This morning, after planting a few small flower pots with hard red winter
wheat berries which I grow as a treat for my indoor cats, I began to wonder
if birds eat wheat berries. Anyone out there know? Are they ever included
in mixed bird seed? If not, is it because birds in general do not eat wheat
berries; or is it because wheat is a staple for people, more so than millet?

Curiously,
