I saw a swallow at 8:30 this morning perched on a wire in front of the cabin
where we live at Sandy Point, west of Ferndale. Probably adult female Barn,
very pale chest with pretty sharp line at neck, and no white on forehead.
Checked it out with my binocs but light was gray and glaring a bit so the
dark colors were hard to see. It sat there for at least 5 minutes and did not
fly before I had to drive away.
