Thanks to all who pointed out my message title for me on the
Mockingbird. It is quite humorous now that I see it. However, I do want
to reserve the right to use it again if I find a body part of one. :)

Jim Pruske and I relocated the male Tufted Duck at 8:30am in the SW
corner of the Hoquiam STP. The bird remained mostly in the corner and
close enough for good looks and photographs. We saw the tuft several
times during our 30 minute stay.
At 9:00am we left for the John Rivers Wildlife Area. We mainly searched
for the Lesser Yellowlegs, but the bird eluded us. We searched the pond
and river bank for over an hour with no luck.
We came up with:
10 Greater Yellowlegs
17 Dunlin
1 Western Sandpiper
1 Common Snipe
1 pair of Canvasback
1 male Common Goldeneye
On the way home we quickly went through Brady Loop. We had 72 swans of
both Tundra and Trumpeter. The majority were Tundra.
