Having grown up with these guys in Texas, I feel confident you can say that just
about any imaginable noise is a normal noise for a mockingbird. You can practically
identify them by "call" by just noting two things: slender shape hidden in or perched
on top of thick bush; and "strange" noise that catches you by surprise, emanating
from said bush (of course this works better in the south than here).
