Thanks to all who've replied, and for the others; this bird had no brown on
his head, nape, throat, breast.....
The color patterning/distribution was just as a finch. His throat faded from
yellow to a paler belly, fading to white.
Couldn't see if there were yellow feathers over the tail as there is red/rose
on House or Purple Finches.
Anxious for morning.
