Hi Tweets,
Have a question about a gull I saw today. It had all the field marks of a
1st winter Mew Gull and was hanging out with them at Crescent Beach on Orcas
Island. However, I came to a screeching halt when I noticed that it had very
pink legs. Is this a normal variation? None of my field guides show this.
This gull really stood out among the rest of them.
