This is a bit late for Doug but the Tufted Duck was still there Sunday morning in the same spot (SW corner of the Hoquiam STP).
(BTW - Learned that the fish the birds (and a few years ago an otter) are eating are Sticklebacks that got introduced years ago and
that they're going to have to dredge "brown lake" in the next 7 years, hopefully that doesn't hurt the birding any).

On another note, I got new Nikon Superior E binoculars a few days ago and love them. Makes it a real joy picking through a flock of
hundreds of scaups looking for the black backed one.

Hi All,
I was wondering if the Tufted Duck is still at the Hoquium
ST Ponds? I was planning on going down there on Saturday AM but would like
to make sure it is still in the area. Thanks so much!
