This morning about 9 a.m. I saw about 30 Common Redpolls in the Lake Hills
Greenbelt in SE Bellevue. They were about 200 yards north on the trail from
the intersection of SE 16th and 156th Ave. I was going south on the trail and
they were moving north in the alder trees. When I went back that way about 10
a.m. I couldn't find them again.

I also saw a Red-tailed Hawk back on the nest that was used last year to
hatch two young. The nest is just across 156th Ave. (west) from the Phantom
Lake parking lot access.
