Greetings all,

A friend who was on the pelagic on 2/17 when we had the Thick-billed Murre
just sent me some images of the bird. I put 3 of the photographs on the
westportseabirds.com website. go to www.westportseabirds.com. then click
on the link for the Photo Gallery. The Thick-billed Murre link is on that
page.

Also I would like to plug our next two upcoming trips. March 16th, and
April 20th (Deepwater Pterodroma seach). Rare alcids are still quite
possible on either trip, such as Parakeet Auklet, Horned Puffin, or maybe
even a Thick-billed Murre again. Also possible are Short-tailed Shearwater,
Laysan Albatross, and our last March trip, we had our earliest record of
Manx Shearwater for the state.

Instructions are on the website on how to sign up for a trip.
Hope to see some of you out there!

Cheers and good birding.
