2/26/02 I drove the Sinlahekin Valley south from the Loomis area to Fish
Lake. Birdwise it was rather quiet. I found one flock of 200+ Common
Redpolls on Pine Creek Rd.(off Fish Creek Rd.) about 1/4 mile south of
the store. This on DeLorme page 114, #4 between C & D. The next
morning there were 47 Bohemian Waxwings at 2034 Hwy 7 about 1 mile south
of Oroville.. Hwy 7 runs along the west side of the Okanogan River
between Oroville and Tonasket. This is on DeLorme page 115.
