It looks like the experiment with the mealworms is a definite success. He finally discovered them this afternoon. At first, he didn't seem very excited, but eventually, he was coming straight in to the mealworms, and ignoring the suet. He ended up spending most of the afternoon here, and didn't leave until 4:15. That's by far the latest he's been here, in fact, 3:00-3:30 has been about as late as anyone stays. It's dark here by 4:30 or so. For anyone else in the area feeding him, I'm using both live and dehydrated mealworms. I'll try to figure out if he has a preference and keep you posted. I got the worms at Petco in Wenatchee, I don't know of any place in the Valley to get them. Might find something in Omak or Okanogan. That's about all for now.
