On Jan. 1st, along Banks Lake my friend and I saw all three Mergansers
at one spot. This spot was along Hwy. 155, between mile markers 4 and
5. There were 23 Red-Brested, 6 Hooded, and a few Commons. Lots of
Commons in other areas. See DeLorme p. 85, B 7. Meredith Spencer
