I haven't sent in an update because there hasn't been much to report. Sort
of a no news is good news mind set. And unless something changes, updates
will probably be hit or miss. But for those that want to be sure, yes, he's
still here. As I said in my last report, the mealworms are definitely a
hit. One correction though. Although he definitely prefers the live ones,
he will take the other occasionally. I will also be adding a different type
of worm, something called Bird Grub from AudobonWorkshop.com. I think
they're dehydrated wax worms, will let you know if they are as popular as
the mealworms. They're supposed to be more nutritious and easier to digest
than the mealworms. We'll see. Deborah Wisti-Peterson suggested I add baby
crickets. I may try it, but at the moment, the idea of a cricket taking
residence under my bed and singing at 2:00 am isn't thrilling me. At least
the mealworms don't move very fast.

We continue to enjoy the visitors from all over. Don't hesitate to knock
and say hi, we like knowing where people are coming from to see "our" bird.

Just to add to the controversy, I get quite a few redpolls here, and the
consensus of several of our guests is that there's at least one hoary in the
bunch. I'll leave it to those that share that opinion to jump on in.
That's all for now.
