Subject: How Do They Know???

Hi Tweets,

Earlier this week I let a couple days go by before re-filling my suet and
seed feeders. There were no sparrows, finches, bushtits, chickadees, etc.,
in the bushes near the feeders when I filled them, nor in the general
vicinity of my condo. Within 15 min., the gang arrived. A few minutes
before that I'd seen a lone bird (probably a House Sparrow) fly from my side
of the street across to a tangle of blackberries, etc., where a lot of birds
hang out. Did that bird alert the rest that there was food available?? How
did they know to show up at my place shortly after the feeders were filled??

TIA,
