The following list of bird species was obsereved along Marine Drive
in Blaine, Whatcom County, WA on January 5, 2001 between about 11:30
A.M. and 1:00 P.M. Weather conditions were ideal, with almost no
wind and calm waters.
The tide was high, with no exposed mudflats.

In addition to the 35 bird species observed, I noted two HARBOR SEALS
in the water off the end of the crab-fishing pier.
